With the BLACK STAR Z we entered a new dimension in CORMORAN reel manufacturing. Together with Japanese engineers we developed a reel, which didn't exist in such manner in our history before. We entered areas of micro-tolerance, which are locked for normal reels. Thus we could reduce the tolerance of the spool, which is an annoying obstacle with normal front drag reels, to a minimum in all directions. Thanks to highest precision and smallest tolerances even the handle backlash has been minimized in such dramatic manner, that it's not worth to talk about. |
